NCTC’s March TechTonic: Pause to Harness Your Power
Leadership Coach Rachael O’Meara will share a way for techies, leaders, and entrepreneurs to feel more satisfied and engaged in their work at this month’s TechTonic event. TechTonic will take place at 5:30pm on Tuesday, March 20 at the Nevada County Tech Hub at 104 New Mohawk Road in Nevada City.
The Nevada County Tech Connection (NCTC) TechTonic is a free, monthly networking event that features industry experts speaking on a variety of provocative tech-related topics. Local tech talent, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, makers, coders, and other members of the Nevada County tech community show up regularly to learn and network at this lively monthly event. TechTonic brings some of the most experienced and accomplished speakers in the tech industry to Nevada County.
Speaker Rachael O’Meara is a transformational leadership coach. Her book Pause was named one of 2017’s top business books for your career, and was featured in the New York Times and on WSJ.com. As part of her work in learning & development at Google, she hosts authors who have meaningful messages about mindfulness and emotional intelligence on Google’s YouTube channel. She has a Certificate in Transformational Coaching from Wright Graduate University, and an MBA from Fordham University. At TechTonic, she will explore how pausing, or intentionally shifting your behavior, can lead to feeling more engaged and satisfied.
