Three Nevada County Tech Companies Win Awards for Innovation
Nevada County just proved again that our local tech businesses are creating award-winning products. THREE Nevada County companies recently won awards for their innovative products. TraitWare, a Nevada County Tech Hub start-up, writes software that eliminates the threat of compromised login credentials by using a different approach to user authentication and cybersecurity. Autometrix is a well-established family-run business that makes cutting solutions (cutting tables, digitizing tools, and software) for manufacturers who want to automate their production process. And Telestream makes video solutions that allow customers to create, ingest, transcode, caption, inspect, deliver, play, and stream any type of video.
TraitWare wins software innovation award for secure login solution
The Sacramento Region Innovation Awards, sponsored by Stoel Rives LLP, the Sacramento Business Journal, and Moss Adams LLP, recognizes the area’s vibrant innovation community and their breakthrough creations. Pioneering innovations — products, services and processes nurtured within a nine county region — are judged on novelty, market need, economic impact and disruption. They selected Traitware as the winner in the Software category for TraitWare’s secure login solution. TraitWare Secure Login is a login solution that eliminates the number one source of login attacks – usernames and passwords – and makes logging into any resource, from any device, incredibly simple and secure.
Autometrix wins IFAI show stopper award for equipment and tools
The Industrial Fabrics Association International Expo (IFAI) is the premier industrial fabrics expo for new and innovative products. It awarded Autometrix first prize in the Equipment & Tools category of the Show Stopper Awards, which recognizes the most popular products on the show floor. The winning product was Autometrix Templates software, which allows manufacturers to instantly generate new patterns for each of their products in varying sizes. It provides the ability to offer a variety of sizes or dimensions for custom and semi-custom products, making “just in time” manufacturing possible.
Telestream wins three Streaming Media Readers’ Choice awards
Finally, Streaming Media, a news media company serving and educating the streaming media industry, hosts a Readers’ Choice Award competition in conjunction with its annual Streaming Media West conference, which is one of the largest, most prestigious and widely acclaimed events in the world for the business of audio and video on the Internet. This year, Telestream took home not one but three Readers’ Choice awards: Best Encoding Software, Best Portable Multicam and Best Analytics/QOS Platform.
