The Nevada County Economic Resource Council (NCERC) in partnership with Nevada County Association of Realtors (NCAR) presents the 2023 Annual Nevada County Economic Summit, Thursday, October 26, 2023, 3:00 to 6:00pm at Grass Valley Veterans Hall. Tickets are $75 per person and $360 for a table of 8. Doors open, check in, and networking reception is 3:00 to 4:00pm and includes hors d’oeuvre and beverages, with local business spotlights and economic presentation from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
The annual Economic Summit is for everyone and brings together community stakeholders from both public and private business sectors, including leaders in government, healthcare, education, manufacturing, technology, agriculture, finance, and other industry throughout the region, and provides vital information regarding the health of our economy and the future of our community.
ELLIOT EISENBERG, Ph.D. is the keynote for 2023 and he loves to speak about economics. He’ll educate and entertain and make the event memorable. Elliot presents on any number of economic issues, including macroeconomic conditions such as GDP growth, interest rates, unemployment, inflation, and currency movements, or the health of the housing market and real estate, demographics, energy prices, household behavior, wages growth, income inequality, automobile sales and many other topics. Over the last 10 years, Elliot has spoken to hundreds of groups on a wide variety of economic topics.
The Networking Reception is sponsored by Owens Estate and Wealth Strategies Group. This reception is an opportunity to grab a glass of wine, a bite to eat and network with friends and associates, speak with area influencers and mingle with the representatives of the business snapshots .
