Nevada County Economic and Workforce Opportunity Profile

Given the opportunities and challenges facing the county, the Nevada County Economic Resource Council ad Sierra College asked the North/Far North Center of Excellence to conduct a regional economic and workforce assessment and provide recommendations on priority investment areas. The analysis in this report incorporates important measures that contribute to the overall health of a regional economy – population demographics, commuting patterns, the expansion or contraction of key industry sectors, in-demand occupations, ad education and training assets.
