Nevada County Job Fair: October 2, 2008

The ERC, in conjunction with several other organizations, hosts an annual Job Fair at the County Fairgrounds each fall. It is a once per year opportunity for over 60 employers to showcase vacant and new positions in their firms.
Started in 2005 as an annual event, the numbers of job seekers that participate has steadily risen each year.

University Job Fairs
As a service to the business community, the ERC participates in university job fairs each year in the spring. The ERC purchases a table at several university job fairs, and invites local employers to either join in with support staff, or the ERC can represent those that are unable to send support staff along. There is a fee charged to businesses to help cover the registration fees and related expenses, whether or not they send company reps. Typically the ERC goes to the following universities:
