The Nevada County Broadband Leadership Council, a working group within the Nevada County Economic Resource Council (NCERC), was formed to examine the availability of Broadband within Nevada County, look for technological and financial solutions to expand broadband accessibility in Nevada County, and look towards future broadband sustainability in the County to provide the greatest availability, access, and competitive pricing for our residents, businesses, and government services.
Nevada County Connected is the project name for the state and federal middle-mile infrastructure grant applications submitted for American Recovery and Re-investment Act (ARRA) stimulus funding. The Nevada County Economic Resource Council applied for California PUC grants under the CASF program and federal grants under the BIP/BTOP programs.
